In many cases, coulometry is an alternative to volumetry giving thus decisive benefits which main ones are :
- absolute titration méthode
- no titration solution , so the volume is constant in the titration environment
- therefore, no calibration
which does not exclude the rigour when analysing and the checking of a correct general working. The MIPO 5 servocoulometer ChlorineSulfurCarbon is not only limited to titrations. It can also ensure all the steps necessary to make an analysis since it has got a high-performance mineralization system which allows the combustion of gaseous, liquid and solid samples.
Mineralization : the principle of the mineralization by MIPO 5 consists of a controled pyro-combustion. All the gas coming from the mineralization are carried into the titration cell where it is absorbed under titrable species .
Two types of titration cells : a thirty-years-old experience and know-how led us to conceive two kinds of cells easy to use which gather the rigour of the measure conditions and the easy way to manipulate respecting the demanded constraints.
